China National Building Material Group Selected as One of the Top 30 ESG Excellence Practices in China

On October 22nd, the annual ESG China Forum's Innovation Conference took place in Beijing, jointly organized by CCTV, the China Enterprise Reform and Development Research Association, and the China Social Responsibility Forum. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed individuals such as Shao Ning, former deputy director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), Peng Huagang, former secretary-general of SASAC, Li Jun, director of Social Responsibility Bureau, Cai Jun, director of CCTV's Financial Programming Center, along with top executives from China Mobile, Sinochem Group, China National Salt Industry Corporation, CRRC Corporation Limited, China Communications Construction Company Limited, and other notable enterprises. Mr. Wang Yumeng, a member of the CPC Committee and deputy general manager of China National Building Material Group, attended the event and was honored with an award.

The event marked the official release of the "Annual ESG Excellence Practice Report." China National Building Materials Group, in recognition of its proactive adoption of the ESG development concept and remarkable achievements in continuously innovating and implementing collaborative hazardous waste disposal in cement plants, was honored as one of China's ESG Excellence Practices in 2023. Joining the ranks of this accolade were State Grid, China Mobile, China State Construction Engineering Corporation, China Resources Group, and 30 other companies.
